January Newsletter

Hello,

I hope this month's newsletter finds you well and excited for a new year. 2020 has been challenging (to say the least), and I'm looking forward to taking some much-needed time off over the holidays to decompress a little.

I'm also planning to spend some time organizing my year-end financials and setting new goals for 2021. That includes digging out my personal estate plan to make sure that it still represents an accurate snapshot of my life. The pandemic has certainly caused me to rethink some of my wishes, and I want to ensure they are reflected properly in my documents.

If you also have an estate planI encourage you to do the same thing this month. I have some tips that will help you in the feature article below. If all of your documents are organized and handy, it should take you less than an hour to review everything and make sure that your Will, Trust, and other documents are up to date should something happen to you. If they are not easily accessible…resolve to change that in 2021.

If you don't have an estate planthen please make this the year that you get it taken care of once and for all. Creating an estate plan is one of the most important things you can do for yourself and your family, and it will give you comfort and peace of mind for the future.

If we can help you get started, simply call the office at (260) 969-1177. I'd be happy to meet with you at the office/ via video chat/ phone meeting to answer your questions and assist you in mapping out a plan that would ensure everyone you love and everything you own would be protected if you became ill, disabled, incapacitated, or passed away.

Here's to starting 2021 on an organized and solid legal footing!

With Gratitude,

April

Estate Planning is not just for your parents or grandparents:

It's easy to think that only older folks need to think about estate planning. Younger adults think they have decades in front of them before health concerns, disabilities or death threaten their families. It's true the elderly need to ensure their estate planning is in place, but planning should also take priority for those individuals who are young and healthy. To learn more, <<click here>>
